Drif Core

Privacypolicy.

How Drif Core handles personal information collected through drifcore.com, under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

1. Who is responsible

The entity responsible for the personal information described here is Drif Core, 286 Bondi Rd, Bondi NSW 2026, Australia. You can reach us at [email protected] or +61 2 9114 7372. This policy covers the website drifcore.com and the enquiries that come through it.

2. What we collect

  • Enquiry form: your name, company if you give one, email address, phone number if you give one, the format you are interested in, the event date, the city or venue, the guest count, an optional budget figure and anything you write in the message field.
  • Confirmations: the record that you confirmed the event is for guests aged 18 and over, and that you understand the program involves no gambling, stakes or cash winnings.
  • Correspondence: the emails, calls and documents exchanged while an event is planned.
  • Technical information: your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, recorded by our hosting provider in server logs, plus your cookie choice. See the cookie policy.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information, payment card details or identity documents through this site.

3. Why we hold it, and on what footing

  • To answer your enquiry and plan an event. This is the preparation and performance of a contract with you. Without the date, the venue and the guest count we cannot quote.
  • To run and protect the site. Server logs and the form security measures exist to keep the site working and to stop automated abuse.
  • With your consent: analytics and marketing cookies, and occasional emails about formats and seasonal availability if you ticked that box. You can withdraw either at any time.
  • To meet legal obligations, including tax and accounting records once a contract exists.

Giving us your information is voluntary, but an enquiry without contact details and an event date cannot be answered.

4. Who else sees it

  • Our hosting provider, which stores the website and the server logs.
  • Our email provider, which carries the enquiry and the correspondence.
  • Crew and subcontractors engaged for your event, who receive only what they need to do their part, such as the venue address and the timings.
  • Google, as a provider of analytics and advertising services, only if you consent to the relevant cookie category. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google business privacy.
  • Professional advisers, and public authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles the information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, including through the terms of our contracts with them.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become a contract: up to 12 months, so we can pick up a conversation that restarts the following season.
  • Contract documentation: for the period required by tax and accounting rules and while any claim could still be brought.
  • Your cookie choice: 180 days, then you are asked again.
  • Server logs: the retention period of our hosting provider, which is short and measured in weeks.
  • Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct it if it is wrong, out of date or incomplete;
  • delete it, where we are not required to keep it;
  • stop using it for marketing, which you can also do by replying to any email we send;
  • explain how a particular piece of information is being used.

Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy question, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): https://www.oaic.gov.au/.

7. Cookies and analytics

Necessary cookies keep the site and the form working. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only after you consent, and your consent is managed through Google Consent Mode v2: before you choose, ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are all denied. No analytics or advertising tag is installed on this build of the site. The full list of files is in the cookie policy, and you can change your decision at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.

8. Advertising and personalisation

If advertising cookies are ever enabled with your consent, Google may use the data it receives to measure campaigns and personalise advertising. You can read and control that through https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://business.safety.google/privacy/.

9. How we protect it

  • The site is served over HTTPS and the enquiry form is protected against automated submission and cross-site request forgery.
  • Enquiry records are kept in a location that is not reachable from the public web, and access is limited to the people who plan and run events.
  • We ask providers to apply equivalent protection, and we review access when crew or providers change.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new last updated date. Material changes that affect an event already being planned are communicated directly to the client.
